Pat Burrell – Driving the Reds back to Cincinnati

Tonight a 2 mega ton explosion could be heard in the heart of Philadelphia.  No, it’s not any type of a natural disaster, but just a one man wrecking crew named Pat Burrell.  Pat stroked a blast hurled by Aaron Harang of the Reds into the left field seats putting the Phillies ahead 3 to 1 in the 6th inning.  The Phils were able to hold onto the lead even with Brad Lidge not having his best stuff tonight winning 3 to 2.  The Phillies are currently 7 and 1 for their intended 10 game homestand at Citizen Bank Park.  They will be playing the Reds tomorrow at 7:05 Eastern time with their number one starter Brett Myers.  Myers will be standing off against Volquez the right handed pitcher from Cincinnati with Ken Griffey Jr. in the line-up . . . . Go Phightins!!
